My new nephew

I am so excited to introduce you to my new nephew, Cooper Mason. He is the son of Julie and Brady, Ben's younger brother. He is the first child for them and the second grandson for my inlaws. He is so precious! He weighed 7lbs and 8 Oz and was 20 in long. We visited him about 2 hours after he made his debut! I am also including a pic here of my Kadee Brooke, it was too good not to see!

crazy summer

Well, after starting school last week, this is going to be a crazy summer! I am in my second sememster of nursing school and I have two clinical days. Plus, 2 full class days and two class nights: 17 hours total! Plus I am a mother, well you all know!! Anyway, I am so excited because I am going to Labor and Delivery this semester! I absolutely love newborn babies. I will try to keep everyone updated on here but I might slack some so I can study.

It's Amazing

It is so amazing that God the Father of all heaven and earth, can forgive the biggest sinner! He can set them free from bondage and chains that have been on them for years! All you have to do is surrender to him. Truly surrender. It doesn't matter what you've done,if your a drug addict, an acoholic, an habitual liar, a thief, a slut, he loves us all the same and he can deliver anyone. I truly believe that with all my heart.

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed. Luke 4:18.

Where ever you are at in your life today, Jesus wants you to come to him. Broken, beaten, it doesn't matter. That is WHY HE DIED! The price has been paid, you need not to suffer for a debt that no long exist.

It is said that "God is Love" not human love, supernatural love! So please, if you have never surrendered to him, do it now.

For every mountain

There is a song called "For Every Mountain" by Karen Wheaton. It's an awesome song and I sing it all the time. It's easy to sing when you are NOT on a mountain. Well, this week, we... are on a mountain. It feels like I keep going over this same "mountain" every few months. Like I am lost and keep going in circles. Why does God keep sending me this "mountain"? I don't know but I sure would like to. It is so hard to have faith when things keep going wrong. I know that he is not a liar, so for this moment, I choose to have faith. If you read this, please pray for our "mountain".

Chloe graduated from Kindergarden yesterday. She looks so grown up. She had a great time with her friends at the after party and we took her out to eat afterwards.

Please pray for this family. This is heartbreaking and we don't know why these things happen. But God is Holy and Soverign and He will heal their hearts.

MARIA SUE CHAPMAN, DAUGHTER OF STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, DIES IN ACCIDENT AT FAMILY HOME
NASHVILLE, TN...5/21/08... At approximately 5pm on the afternoon of Thursday May 21st, Maria Sue Chapman, 5 years old and the youngest daughter to Steven and Mary Beth Chapman was struck in the driveway of the Chapman home in Franklin, TN. Maria was rushed to Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in Nashville, transported by LifeFlight, but died of her injuries there. Maria is one of the close knit family’s six children and one of their three adopted daughters.

We have been going to the Basement off and on for the last ten months. This is an awesome worship experience! This is what we want to get started in Jasper so I thought I would share this with you all. It's on Tuesday nights at the Catherdral of the Cross in Pelham. You should check it out!

Beautiful Monday

Today is a beautiful day in North Alabama! I would like to get out but it probably won't happen. I am trying to make the baby a few outfits before I have to go back to school. I'll post pics of her in them when I get finished. I monogrammed them myself! I am so proud since this monogramming thing is harder than I expected. I am using a new stabilizer someone sent me and it works great! That's definitely a secret to good monogramming.
The kids will be out of school in the middle of the week so I won't be getting much done on Thursday and friday. Yea for summer.

Ben and I attended a worship service last night that was really awesome. It was our first "pentacostal" service. It was awesome to see others worship God so freely. Athletic Banquet

Last Thursday Blakeney had an Athletic Banquet at school. It was catered by Slick Lizard Barbecue (the best). It was short and sweet and Blakeney got an award for volleyball and one for Best Smile in Cheerleading.

You would think after being there for a year, they would get her name spelled right!

Well, as you all know, I am the mother of five, so there is never a dull moment. I was woken up by Kadence at 3 am because she has either a tummy ache or a sore throat. I will take her to the doctor today and find out. I will be missing Blake's awards at school, but we went to the sports banquet last night, so she is fine with me not being there.
As some of you know, we are preparing to start a ministry here in Jasper. We want it to be more like a "God Experience" by having gatherings once a week. It is not a church plant. It's kinda like "The Basement" which is similar to what we want to do. It meets at Catherdral of the Cross in Birmingham. We don't know where we will be doing this at, but we have ask for prayer from most of ya'll and maybe God will send the answer soon! We are so excited but we need intercessors to stand in the gap for us and pray!
We are going to be doing all this plus I am in school full time, starting back May 29th. So we need lots of help! Every one we have talked to is excited and wants to be a part of it.

I know, I know, I am terrible at not writing on this thing. Well, right now I am in nursing school. I don't have time to do much but study and take care of my babies. I haven't sewn much lately at all. I am planning to do some while I am on break. Our youngest, Kadence, is growing like a weed so I will be sewing mostly for her. I will try to be better at blogging since I know have internet again! I want to congradulate my friends Allison and Thomas on there soon to be marriage!

Blakeney's first turkey

Blakeney went Turkey hunting on youth day with her dad this year. They made an entire weekend out of it. Turkey hunting til 9, breakfast at the Wafflehouse, then come home and change and off to the baseball games! She will never forget this weekend as long as she lives. She killed 2 turkeys, which I am told is very good since she had never been before. I am sure a lot had to do with her guide! Her uncle even came down to film it! Chloe and Walker's birthday party

Here are pictures from our "Books are Fun" birthday party. The kids that we invited love it. We decorated gingerbread man shaped cookies after we read the story of the gingerbread boy. We had a story teller also. My kids got alot of cool books. I made Chloe's dress, it was a big success.

Christmas was great! My kids got too much stuff as usual! Here are some pictures from Christmas morning. I bardered with some fellow artists this year and was able to give the girls some unique gifts!
